The tubular frame construction has multiple tubular frame profiles (22) connected together by node elements (24). The tubular frame construction is partially formed by the tubular frame profiles made of fiber reinforced plastic. The node elements are made of fiber reinforced plastic or metal casting material. A medium, particularly an operating medium or air of a vehicle ventilation device, is guided in the tubular frame profiles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a modular system for a tubular frame construction of a motor vehicle body; and (2) a method for manufacturing a tubular frame construction of a motor vehicle body.
