The device has a rotor (2) provided with a rotor blade (12), which is rotatably arranged in a housing (1). The rotor blade is provided with a dewatering region along with a dewatering wire (4) and a dewatering wire aperture (5) whose size is smaller than size of a granular grain such that process fluid i.e. water, is separated by a passage from a wire front side to a wire back side of the granular grain. An auxiliary fan (3) is arranged such that airflow is imprinted to a main traveling direction of the granular grain by the housing, where the device is made from a plastic material.
