The twisting unit (20) has friction spindles (1,3) that are overlapped with disc-shaped friction elements (4) in equilateral triangle arrangement with each other about geometric center (6). The thread guides (7,8) are provided to feed the to-be-textured thread (5) over geometric center. A direct current (DC) motor (16) is mounted to drive the friction spindles and connected with controller, amplifier (17), power supply and transformer (18) by control cable (19). The voltage and control command are transmitted to DC motor over control cable.
