The method involves aligning horizontally the borehole (1), which has an entry point (7) and an exit point (6), and integrating a measuring sensor in the bore string (4) behind a drilling tool (3) during drilling process for widening or cleaning of the borehole. The measuring sensor together with the bore string and the drilling tool is pulled from the exit point to entry point of the borehole rotation by a drilling rig. An independent claim is also included for a device for determination and display of diameters of boreholes along the longitudinal axis of a borehole.
