The basket (1) has a cover (5) and a bulging unit (4) connected with each other via joints (7, 8). A joint element i.e. joint pin, is provided at the cover and made of plastic. A latch (11) is provided between the cover and a side wall (3). The latch lies regarding to the joints at opposite lying braided edges. A supporting element of the latch is provided at a basket edge. The joints are designed as film hinges, and the cover is designed as a hood in a perforated manner. The hood comprises cross wire bars (17, 18), and the bulging unit exhibits a linear section (16) at the basket edge.
