The flagpole has location-independent solar power systems that are connected to lower end of the flagpole by a multi-core low voltage cable (11). A boom (3) is connected to flagpole head (2) for supporting lighting unit (4) which is activated by electric power from the solar power systems to emit UV light, white light or combination of red-green-blue colors.
