The radiator has an antenna element and a waveguide (100) for displacing phase of the antenna element, where the waveguide includes a liquid crystal-filled cavity (110). The antenna element is attached on a front side of the waveguide that includes a counter-sunk inner pressure compensation device (150) for compensating an inner pressure in the liquid crystal-filled cavity. The inner pressure compensation device is arranged in the waveguide, and the antenna element includes a metallization applied on the waveguide. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an antenna radiator (2) a method for manufacturing an antenna radiator arrangement.
