Method for determining parameter i.e. skew rigidity, of vehicle model for motor car, involves calculating skew rigidity at front axle and rear axle of motor car as corresponding parameter using rear axle angle to-be-measured of motor car
The method involves considering two different driving situations with uniform lateral acceleration. Skew rigidity at a front axle and a rear axle of a motor car is calculated as a corresponding parameter using a rear axle angle to-be-measured of the motor car. Lateral acceleration, vehicle speed, steering angle at the front axle and a slip angle are measured. Drift angles for the front axle and the rear axle and the skew rigidity are computed. The skew rigidity is added based on the rear axle angle to-be-measured during presence of rear axle steering. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining a driving state of a motor car.
