The device has display device that displays operational information of cooking apparatus relative to time axis characteristic. The extension of representative portion is set parallel to the time axis characteristic of duration of program portion at each change of the time requirements of the section resulting in several time points during the course of the cooking apparatus program section used for determination of required time. An independent claim is included for method for visualizing operation of cooking apparatus in display device.
