The device has a fastening element (4) i.e. screw, and/or a holding element (3) partially lying at a surface of a current conductor (1) in fastened state of the conductor at the device. The fastening element for fastening and/or detaching of the conductor is turned around a longitudinal axle. The holding element is turned around the longitudinal axle, translatorilly displaced in a rotation position along the longitudinal axle for fastening and/or detachment of the conductor and not translatorilly displaced in another rotation position along the axle. An independent claim is also included for a method for detachable fastening of a current conductor at a current transformer housing.
