The machine has a housing with a set of sealing elements, and with an interior space. A toothed arrangement consisting of two outer toothed gear wheels (2a, 2b) is retained at the space. The gear wheels mesh with one another to form a tooth intermediate volume (12a, 12b). The elements are provided with pressure reversal grooves (4a, 4b). A set of connecting channels is provided for hydraulically connecting the intermediate volume and active regions of the machine. Teeth of the gear wheels smear openings of the channels, and the channels are opened and closed in a time-controlled manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a pressure reversal integrated gear machine.
