The pressure sensor has sensor unit (124) that includes connector (132) that is connected with wall of rail. A sensor element (126) is provided to measure the property such as pressure of fuel in rail. A feed channel (138) is provided for supplying the fuel to sense element. A decoupling element (150) is arranged to shield the mechanical loads of feed channel and sense element when connecting the sensor unit with wall of rail.
