The method involves arranging an apparatus system comprising multiple apparatuses e.g. power switches, for low voltages, in viewable manner during start-up for an operator, where apparatus includes an interface implemented by communication protocol. A start-up device is attached to the apparatuses via the interface. The attached apparatus is programmable and/or controllable by the start-up device. The apparatus is addressed by the start-up device using a response for enabling the operator to locate and determine the apparatus. The identified apparatus is parameterized and/or controlled.
