The unit has a channel unit (10) provided with a centrally exhaust air duct (12) and a reversing channel (14) encloses the radial fan in a circumferential direction. A part of a radial airflow of the radial fan in circumferential direction turns over 180 degrees in circumferential direction, and is fed into the centrally exhaust air duct. The reversing channel in the circumferential direction includes an enlarged channel cross section, and electromotor housing (18) includes a cooling chamber (20) that is arranged at a rotational axis of an electromotor (16) around 90 degrees.
