The device has an extruder (2) connected with a replaceable extrusion tool (3). The extrusion tool is adjustable with respect to a corrugated pipe machine (4) for generating of determined pipe diameter. A memory plate is provided for reproducible assembly of the extrusion tool so that adjustment of the tool remains maintained during reinsertion of the tool. The memory plate is firmly with the tool after completion of the adjustment of tool. An extruder terminal is provided between the extruder and a plastic supply pipe as a two-piece radial segment chucking flange. An independent claim is also included for a method for reduction of tool change times in a production device for corrugated plastic pipes.
