The method involves measuring a muscular activity of a digestive tract (4) of a patient (6) during navigation of a magnetically guided endoscopy capsule (2) in the tract, by an inner measuring sensor (16) and an outer measuring sensor (18) i.e. acoustic emission sensor. The inner measuring sensor is arranged in the capsule and designed as a pressure sensor, a distance sensor, a multi-axis acceleration sensor or a gyroscope. The outer measuring sensor is arranged outside the patient. An acoustic signal indicating current or expected muscle activity is output to the outer measuring sensor. An independent claim is also included for an endoscopy device comprising an evaluating device.
