The body (1) has lamellas (2) comprising a recess groove and detachably connected together with a connection collar (3) by engagement of the recess groove of the connection collar in the lamellas and by engagement of the recess groove in the collar. A three-dimensional cavity is formed within the lamellas for accommodating a lamp. The lamellas are detachably attached at the connection collar by a flexible ring (4) by a recess of the lamellas. The lamellas are made of paper or screen printing cardboard, and comprise another recess. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a kit for manufacturing a modular structured lamp body (2) a method for manufacturing a lamp body.
