The system (1) has system components (11-14) e.g. gradient coils, arranged on a base plate (3), which is widely connected to a portion e.g. floor (2), of a building structure, where the wide connection is realized by a curable material. The system components to be cooled are monitored by a temperature control device. Waste heat of the system components is transferred to the portion of the building structure. The system components are guided over a heat pipe (4). A heat exchanger discharges the waste heat to a heating circuit.
