The method involves determining a region of objects e.g. lorry (120) and post (130), based on data e.g. distance, size and shape of the objects, provided by a sensor i.e. camera, of a vehicle (100), where the region is not visible for the sensor. A synthetic graphical element is provided in the form of symbols for installation in the region of the object, and the graphical element is installed in the region of the object for producing an image of the object in surrounding of a vehicle from a virtual camera position i.e. bird`s-eye view. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for producing an image of an object in surrounding of a vehicle, comprising a device for determining a region of an object (2) a computer program product comprising a program code for executing a method for producing an image of an object in surrounding of a vehicle.
