The balancing unit has two coil windings (501,502) made of wire that are electrically isolated from each other, where the coil windings are winded on a winding form. An inlet (I1,I2) is formed at one end of the winding form for a symmetric high frequency signal, while an outlet (O1,O2) is formed at another end of the winding form for an asymmetric high frequency signal. The coil windings are overlapped in a radial direction of the winding form. An independent claim is also included for a receiving unit for a high frequency signal, particularly for a magnetic resonance tomography.
