The system (10) has a screw control unit (16) comprising a housing, and a calculation unit (14) arranged in the housing. The calculation unit is provided for controlling and/or documentation of screwing process via a screwing device. An electronic circuit (12) i.e. conductor card circuit, is inserted into the housing, and comprises a processor unit that is provided independent of the calculation unit to implement processing of data, which is independent of controlling or documentation of the screwing process. A semiconductor memory component stores operating software for the processor unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a screw system.
