The container has supporting feet (4) arranged at four corners of a bottom plate (1). A transponder (6) e.g. radio frequency identification (RFID) transponder, is arranged at a lower side of the bottom plate in a region of a midpoint of the bottom plate. The transponder is diagonally aligned from an elongated construction form and to sides of the container below an angle ranging between 30 degrees and 45 degrees. The bottom plate is formed of a wire grid. The transponder is bonded to a grid mesh by a fastening unit e.g. strap, and suspended below the bottom plate.
