The method involves supplying lateral characteristics of unspecific consumption data such as current consumption data (9a), gas consumption data (9c), water consumption data (9b) and heat consumption data (9d), to an evaluation point (25) i.e. consumption data interpreter (28), by a data connection. The point has reference data. The consumption data is compared with the reference data to determine load-specific consumption pattern by the point. Loads (6a, 6b) are detected by the point. Load-specific consumption data is adjusted as an evaluation result respective to the loads and a customer. An independent claim is also included for a system for implementing a method for detecting individual loads based on unspecific consumption data such as current consumption data and/or gas consumption data and/or water consumption data and/or heat consumption data.
