The ski has a base body (10) ending in a shovel (12) in front. An attachment with front jaws (14) is arranged on a middle region of the base body. A crossover protection rib (18) is arranged in a front region of the ski between the shovel and the front jaws. A height of the rib above an upper side of the base body is as high as a height of the shovel above a lower side of the base body. The rib has a side surface, which is concave towards a side of an adjacent ski. The side surface is inclinedly upwardly aligned in an upper region in a direction to the side of the adjacent ski.
