The gas distributors extend along the stack from the end plates in a z-direction. The end plates relative to the gas distributors are arranged such that a defined linear relative movement possibility is created between the end plates and in the z-direction to the gas distributors while a relative movement is prevented in a direction transverse to the y-direction and transverse to the z-direction and/or in an x-direction.
