The method involves heating a plastic inner surface (35) of a terminal end (30) of a connection pipe (3) until plastic of the connection pipe is melted, where the melting point of the inner surface of the pipe is higher than the melting point of the plastic material of an outer surface (21) of a pipe union (20). The terminal end is pushed into the pipe union, and the terminal end is cooled after being inserted into the pipe union for firmly connecting the terminal end with the pipe union, where the inner diameter of the terminal end is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe union.
