The control-units (30-1 - 30-n) have comparators for comparing voltage of battery subsections (10-1 - 10-n) with voltage of a guide voltage generator (20) that is connected with the control-units. A comparison signal indicating a result of comparison is output. Multiple current conductors e.g. current control valves such as FET and insulated gate bipolar transistor, are connected with the respective comparators and arranged parallel to the respective battery subsections for switching-on the battery subsections and for conducting current depending on the comparison signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control device comprising a guide voltage generator for producing guide voltage for battery subsections (2) a method for voltage regulation of battery cells of a battery.
