Obtaining and processing of carnallite without accumulation of excess magnesium chloride solution, comprises dissolving, processing the extracted carnallite brine by evaporation and cooling, isolating carnallite crystals as an intermediate product, decomposing the carnallite crystals with part of obtained carnallite brine to a potassium chloride-sodium chloride mixture and separating the mixture to salable potassium and sodium chloride, and discharging the magnesium chloride resulting by carnallite solution from the brine circulation as magnesium chloride solution. Obtaining and processing of carnallite without accumulation of excess magnesium chloride solution, comprises dissolving, processing the extracted carnallite brine by evaporation and cooling, isolating carnallite crystals as an intermediate product, decomposing the carnallite crystals with part of obtained carnallite brine to a potassium chloride-sodium chloride mixture and separating the mixture to salable potassium and sodium chloride, and discharging the magnesium chloride resulting by carnallite solution from the brine circulation as magnesium chloride solution. The solution mining of the carnallite deposit is carried out by selective hot leaching and/or non-selective cold leaching such that in addition to cavity resulting from carnallite solution, a cavity is formed, which is produced from carnallite by dissolving of sodium chloride content. The entire cavity is filled with stowing brine after the completion solution mining process, and the magnesium chloride concentration is more than 450 g/l magnesium chloride and the magnesium chloride concentration is adjusted such that the entire magnesium chloride from carnallite brining and processing method is introduced into the cavity formed by dissolving salt cavern without excess accumulation.
