The method involves placing a horizontally arranged LED in a virtual horizontal line (S20). A vertically arranged LED of a set of LEDs is placed (S30) in a virtual vertical line, where the vertically arranged LED is arranged between two adjacent virtual intersection nodes to connect of a positive terminal of the vertical LED with a positive terminal of another vertical LED and connecting a negative terminal of the former vertical LED to a negative connection of the latter vertical LED. Alternative voltage (AC) is supplied (S40) to the virtual vertical line. The LEDs are connected with connection lines, where the connection lines are formed from an electrical conductive metal e.g. electrical conductive metal copper or a copper alloy, or an organic conductive material e.g. organic conductive polymer such as polyacetylene or halogen-endowed polyacetylene.
