The method involves conveying fluid with a temperature in the under ground and pumping another fluid with another temperature from the under ground. The heat is removed from the conveying fluid and is cooled. The cooled fluid is conveyed into the under ground, where temperature of former fluid is smaller than the latter fluid that is temporarily stored in storage. An independent claim is also included for a plant for the recovery of heat from under ground.
