The device (1) has a ring element (22) comprising a ring body with a U-shaped cross-section including a radial outer arm and a radial inner arm. The outer arm defines an outer circumferential surface (31) of the element. A ring groove-shaped intermediate space (40) is concentrically arranged between the outer arm and the inner arm and axially opened. A support surface (21) of a housing opening (20) and the outer circumferential surface are conically formed. The outer circumferential surface is tapered toward a closed front side of the intermediate space.
