The instrument panel (10) has a glove box (14) and a trim part (18), which are held on a base body (16) of the instrument panel. The trim part is arranged adjacent to the glove box. The glove box held on the base body of the instrument panel is displaced in the direction of the trim part. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an instrument panel.
