The aid has a self-propelled carrier device (10) displaced to a runway (24), and a take-off and/or landing shock absorbing bag (26) connected with the carrier device for supporting an underwing of a lightweight aircraft. The absorbing bag is flexibly formed as an air bag. A landing-holding element (28) and a take-off-holding element (30) are connected with the take-off-and/or landing shock absorbing bag. The holding elements are pivoted and/or displaced from a flight path of the aircraft. The landing-holding element is spring-loaded. Wheels of the carrier device are steered around an angle. The carrier device is formed as a motor vehicle.
