The device has a supporting unit (2) positioned in a normal arrangement between a foot and a substrate. The supporting unit partly consists of cold foam. The supporting unit is fastened at the foot or on the substrate and formed in two layers (4, 6) or multi-layers. The layers are made of cold foam. The supporting unit comprises a closing layer (5) at a lower end turned toward the substrate or an upper end turned toward the foot in the normal arrangement. The closing layer partly consists of an elastomer. The layers are separated from each other by an intermediate layer.
