The fuel body (10) for burning in a fuel boiler with movable grate, comprises a peelable plant material (95-98 wt.%) such as oats, spelt, paper and/or wood pressed in the fuel body, and additives (2, 3) for reducing slag formation such as lime and/or kaolin pressed with the plant material in the form of cut up particles. The plant material is softened by water vapor. The pressed components of the fuel body are held together by the binding effect of the peelable material. The fuel body (10) for burning in a fuel boiler with movable grate, comprises a peelable plant material (95-98 wt.%) such as oats, spelt, paper and/or wood pressed in the fuel body, and additives (2, 3) for reducing slag formation such as lime and/or kaolin pressed with the plant material in the form of cut up particles. The plant material is softened by water vapor. The pressed components of the fuel body are held together by the binding effect of the peelable material.
