The system has a redelivery device for redelivery of hydraulic volume from a pump piston (32) and a spring (35) in a hydraulic circuit. A reinforcing device (10), a stator (11), a rotor (12) and a gearbox (13) are connected by a mechanical spring pretensioning device (40) to pretension a spring assembly of the piston and the spring by forward motion of the reinforcing device, stator, rotor and the gearbox. The volume is raised based on the pretension under high pressure from the piston and the spring during return motion of the reinforcing device, stator, rotor and the gearbox in the circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a hydraulic system.
