The method involves transporting and placing a mobile dispensing apparatus (1) on a support part (2) i.e. table. Multiple drinking vessels to be filled (14) are arranged with an input unit (16) of the dispensing apparatus. One of the drinking vessels having a conveyor is automatically conveyed to a dosing unit (9) of the dispensing device. The drinking vessels are filled with a predetermined amount of liquid from a liquid container (10). Sampling positions of the drinking vessels are calculated by a control unit of the dispensing apparatus. An independent claim is also included for a mobile dispensing apparatus comprising an internal power supply.
