The method involves placing a component (2) between a base plate (5) and a die (3). A force (F1) is applied on edge regions of the die so as to form a recess (6) and a protrusion (7) in the component provided between base plate and die. A movable stamper element (9) is provided at recess (8) of die and is connected with a pressure plate (10). The reshaping of component is performed by applying force (F2) on the pressure plate.
