The rotary plug valve has rotary plug (1) whose rotational axis (24) is arranged at preset distance from sealing circle plane of sealing chamfer (10). The center axis (3) of chamfer is arranged at specific distance from rotational axis of rotary plug, such that center axis of spherical calotte (11) is arranged closer to center axis of chamfer. The calotte is coupled with rotary element (31) via adjustable and lockable joint connection, to obtain spherical and axis-parallel movement of spherical calotte relative to rotary element.
