The planter has a cubical or cylindrical form, where the plate is pointed upwardly away from the planter. A container accommodates plants (3) and substrates. Plant parts lie at the plate, and are projected over the planter such that the plants are spatially defined. The plate defines an elongate and narrow base surface of the planter.
