The method involves acquiring intended load period and intended route, and determining whether one vehicle is free during lending period. Computation is performed for determining whether state of charge of battery for one free vehicle exists in sufficient range for cumulative running distance which is the sum of intended load period and intended route. Rejection of reservation request is performed, if no free vehicle exists in sufficient charge range. Reservation is offered, if one free vehicle exists in sufficient charge range. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) car sharing reservation system; and (2) car sharing system.
