The power plant (1) has a pump (2), an expansion machine (3), a vaporizer (4) and a capacitor (5) arranged in a closed circuit. A device (8) is arranged in the closed circuit such that the device detects leakage of the closed circuit in a rest state of the power plant, where the device comprises a pressure sensor (9) and a temperature sensor. The vaporizer is connected with a heat source (6) while the capacitor is coupled with a condenser (7). The pressure sensor is arranged between the expansion machine and the capacitor. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting leakage in a closed circuit of a steam power plant.
