The device (1) has a damping element i.e. spring element e.g. torsion spring, arranged between a primary mass (2) and a secondary mass (3). A center axis of the primary mass is arranged eccentric to a center axis (9) of the secondary mass. The primary and secondary masses are accommodated by an eccentric ring (16) and rotatably supported on the eccentric ring. A conically and radially extending support element (18) is fastened to the masses and cooperates with the damping element such that an identical attachment surface is provided to the damping element. An independent claim is also included for a method for transmission of torque from a primary mass to a secondary mass of an eccentric two-mass flywheel of a motor car.
