The carriage (1) has a supporting structure (2) arranged on bases (41, 42) and a seating surface (3). A backrest (5) is arranged at the supporting structure in a movable manner over a rotational axis relative to the seating surface. A positioning carrier (6) is connected with a backrest support (54) in a pivotable manner over another rotational axis (52), and a locking unit adjusts an angle between the seating surface and the backrest through locking of an engagement element. The locking unit has a sliding surface and/or sliding rail for positioning the rotational axes.
