The belt (1) has a support-sided cover plate (2) and a running-side cover plate (3) made of elastomeric materials, where the belt is closed at a pipe conveyer belt part by overlapping an embedded rail support (4) on two belt edges under formation of two tangential edge zones (A, B). The conveyer belt part is supported on supporting rollers, and one of the edge zones of the cover plates is provided with lubricant and resistant friction coatings (6, 7) e.g. films, that include a high hard elastomer and polyolefin e.g. ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene.
