The valve i.e. exhaust valve (10), has a closing body (20) closing an aperture (18) and a housing (12). The body is arranged coaxial to a longitudinal axis (14) in a valve chamber (16) of the housing. A spring (24) is arranged in the valve chamber, where the closing body is acted upon by the spring with spring force. The spring is partially made contact with a radial outer side of the housing. An annular supporting element (26) is arranged in the valve chamber for supporting the spring in an axial direction.
