Method for lateral alignment of sheets in conveyor device of sheet processing machine, involves processing signals of sensors and transmitting signals to control valve that is attached to side extraction element
The method involves detecting sheets to be printed by a side extraction element in an output position, where the extraction element is impingeable with low pressure. The sheets are conveyed to a side alignment position adjacent to which sensors (15) are arranged. A position of the sheets is detected perpendicularly over a carrier plate (4) with respect to the sensors. Signals of the sensors are processed for variably adjusting strength of the low pressure supplied to the extraction element. The signals are transmitted to a control valve (20) that is attached to the extraction element. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for lateral alignment of sheets in a conveyor device.
