The printing system has pressure units that comprise several units with a microprocessor controller (16) connected to data bus portions (11,12), for supplying printing ink to a recording carrier. The data bus portions are connected to bus switches (13). The spacers of data bus portions are connected with each other. The terminating resistors (18) of data bus portions are switched in series with respect to end switches (19) coupled with data switches, such that the data switches and the end switches are alternatively opened. An independent claim is included for operation method of printing system.
