The endoprosthesis has a base portion (1) made from titanium or titanium alloy, and a joint surface forming region (2) which is arranged at the base portion. The joint-surface-forming region is made from another alloy such as stainless steel, or alloy with chrome, molybdenum and/or nickel cobalt, and cobalt chromium-molybdenum alloy, other than the titanium alloy. The base portion is made from a titanium alloy which is selected from titanium-aluminum alloy and /or titanium-aluminum-vanadium alloy. An independent claim is included for manufacturing method of endoprosthesis.
