The method involves receiving the current program contributions by a micro processor according to a registered program by considering the received program information about the beginning, the ending and the assigned program slot assignments or an electronic program guide (EPG) data-display. The remaining time of the program contribution is determined and each program slot or the EPG data-display is displayed individually on the assigned display. The measured data are displayed alphanumerically or graphically in the form of a bar graph or a series of points or symbols.
